A loan of $850 helped to pay farmworkers for their help to harvest his sugar cane.

Sylvend's story

Sylvand was born in Rwanda. He is 48 years old and he is married with 5 children from 2 to 18 years old, of whom 3 are in school. His level of education is 4 years of secondary school.

Sylvand is a farmer. This is his first loan with ACB. He is going to use his loan in order to pay for the labor for the harvest of sugar cane.

His strategy for the growth of his business is to increase the fields by buying other fields for his sugar cane farming.

In the coming years, Sylvand would like to expand his farming and be the distributor of sugar cane for the factories that produce sugar. With the profits, he plans to pay for his children's schooling and improve the well-being of his family.
