Miguel

A loan of $1,125 helped to buy fertilizers for his lemon crop and nutritionally-balanced animal feed.

Miguel's story

Miguel is a father. He lives together with his wife and son in a home that they have managed to build through a lot of effort and commitment to their work. Their home is located in a small rural village which only has access to electricity. The village in which they live is called "CP-2 Colera" and it is 15 minutes from Tambogrande district, Piura province, approximately 3 hours from the city of Chiclayo.

The area in which Miguel lives is an area where people farm and raise livestock and so Miguel has always worked in farming. He has one hectare of land where he grows his products in accordance with the season. He is currently growing lemons. As an additional business activity, he and his wife also raise farmyard animals which they raise, fatten and then sell in nearby markets.

Miguel is a responsible husband and father and his aims and goals are very clear: to get his family ahead in life. For this reason, he has decided to request a loan for 3,000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa. He will use this money to buy fertilizers for his lemon crop and nutritionally-balanced feed to fatten the animals that he raises.

Miguel and his family have always been united. Their neighbors hold them in high regard because they are good-natured and hard-working people.
