A loan of $375 helped to pay for studies to obtain her university degree.

Cintia's story

Cintia is 24, and has been living with her husband Percy for two years. Both live in her mother-in-law's house, located in the community of Huachac.

They don't have children, but she wants to be a mother. She knows she is very young, and still isn't in a financial position to look after one, and that's why she still has no plans in that regard.

Her greatest desire is to get a degree, in order to be able to get better work opportunities. She studied early childhood education in a recognized university. Now she works in a kindergarten during the mornings, and receives a monthly salary there.

In the afternoons she does private classes for children under five, where she applies all the knowledge about early stimulation that she acquired, and also teaches mathematics, so that they adjust to school.

In the meantime, her husband is studying dentistry, and pays for his studies thanks to the construction work he does. Now she studies a lot, to be able to get her degree, and so make her goal a reality.

She belongs to the "Mujeres Trabajadoras" solidarity group, and this is her first loan with MFP. So she is hoping for your help so that she can continue toward her objectives. Moreover, she promises to make her installment payments.

In addition, she is thankful to be part of her communal bank, because all its members are responsible and supportive people. When she receives the loan, Cintia will use the the money applied for to pay for studies toward her university degree.
