A loan of $950 helped to buy more products to stock up her grocery store.

Graciela's story

Graciela, 42, is a happy and hardworking woman. She lives in her own house, along with her husband Jorge, 40, and their 3 beloved children, to whom they want to provide a good education. Graciela has a business selling groceries such as: rice, sugar, noodles, preserves, soft drinks, and other products. She started this business 7 years ago, and she tells us that it is going very well. Graciela's main customers are the neighbors who live close to the store, and they come to her store every day because she has the best variety of products to offer. She says that since she started taking loans from MFP, the business is going much better than before, because she has been able to carry even more products in her store. Up to this point, she has been able to rely on the support of the lenders, and she feels proud to be working with MFP, because in this way she has been able to carry out her plans for her business. This will be her 7th loan with MFP, and she is prepared to continue to comply with the payment terms on her loan, so that she will get another opportunity to borrow in the future. She is on the board of directors of her communal bank, and is very responsible. With the 2,500 Peruvian soles she requests, she will buy grocery products for her store.
