San Blas Group's story

This group, called 'San Blas', was created when one of its members contacted Fundación Paraguaya. The group are in their fourth loan cycle and have been working with Fundación Paraguaya since 2011. They are all heads of household who work as hard as they can to provide their families with the best.

One of the members of this group is Hilda. She lives with Oscar, who is a mechanic, and the couple have two children. Hilda has been making all kinds of clothing for several years now. She says that, thanks to her work, she is able to help her husband with the day-to-day expenses and also support her children and their home. She says that her biggest dream is for her children to study for a college degree and become upstanding citizens.

Hilda is requesting a loan to buy fabric, thread, fasteners and other supplies she needs to continue making clothes.
