Betsy's story

29-year-old Betsy is a hard-working single mother. She lives in her own home together with her young son, 2-year-old Henry. He is the motivation behind all her hard work. Betsy is a young woman who is committed to her business. Her goal is to be together with her young son and not neglect him. Six years ago, she opened a grocery store which is doing very well. Most of her customers are close neighbors. Betsy says that there are advantages and disadvantages to her work. She has to face her obstacles and make progress with her sales so that she can cover her expenses. Since she started requesting loans from MFP her business has done very well she is able to continue achieving her plans for her business.

This will be Betsy's third loan from MFP. She pledges to make her repayments on time. She is grateful to her community bank for allowing her to become a member. Betsy will use her 1,000 soles to buy products for her store such as rice, sugar, detergents, a range of soaps, etc.
