Nsumbi B Group's story

The group leader of this small group is Prossy N.. She is currently in the business of running a salon and is requesting a loan to purchase a generator. Prossy is 27 years old and is single. Each week, Prossy makes approximately UGX 50000 in profits and with the extra profits from her loan, she hopes to be able to buy a hair steamer. Prossy has taken a loan from BRAC Uganda before in the amount of UGX 300000 in order to buy chemicals and cosmetics and the loan was paid back on time.

Prossy is joined in her small group by Juliet N., Barbara M., Jamilah M., and Afuwa N.. Juliet N. has a business operating a restaurant and wants to buy more food. Barbara M. is currently operating a business in poultry keeping and wants a loan to renovate her chicken houses. Jamilah M. operates a business in poultry farming and wants to buy broiler chicks. Afuwa N. is currently in the business of selling clothes and is requesting a loan to add to her business.
