A loan of $1,125 helped to make improvements to her beauty salon, such as painting the walls and purchasing some tools for her work.

Miryam's story

Miryam learned how to cut and style hair, and also do manicures, approximately 25 years ago. She worked for a long time in a beauty salon, after which she wanted to work for herself so she set up her own beauty salon. Thanks to this activity, Miryam is able to collaborate with her husband in generating income for her household, where she lives with her two children, aged 12 and 16, in addition to her husband.

She set up her beauty salon with very little capital, and bit by bit she has been able to improve her work tools. Miryam has very good customers, mainly because of the good service that she provides. Thanks to this, her sales have increased in recent months.

With the goal of continuing to attract customers to her business, Miryam wants to make it more attractive for her customers. For this reason, she wants to paint the walls of her beauty salon, and also purchase some tools for her work. As she doesn't have sufficient capital to do this, Miryam hopes that a loan will provide her with the opportunity of making improvements to her beauty salon, such as painting the walls and purchasing some tools for her work.

Miryam hopes to continue growing her sales so as to generate sufficient income to support her household. Additionally, she also hopes that her business will grow, so that she can create employment for the people who are most vulnerable. She also dreams of providing her children with a good education and financial stability.
