A loan of $1,050 helped to buy dairy products, meat, and sausages.

Cesar Augusto's story

Cesar, age 29, is in a common-law marriage and has two children, ages one and seven. He lives in the La Estación neighborhood in the Tela municipality, Atlántida.

Cesar sells dairy products, meat, and sausages. He previously worked for a company distributing sausages. This helped him learn that there was a demand for dairy products and meat on his route.

He is currently requesting a loan for 20,000 lempiras to buy cream cheese, Frijolero cheese, dried cheese, butter, sausages, beef, and pork.

Cesar hopes to continue growing in his business. He will use the profits to give his children an education, build his house, and get a motorcycle in order to more rapidly distribute the products.
