Rorn's Group's story

A villager in the Tbaung Khmum district of Cambodia, Rorn is 32 years old and married with three dependent children who are still in school. She and her husband earn a living through farming rice and by working at rubber plantation. They have been in this business for seven years. She currently earns US$3 per day to feed her family. This is the first loan for Rorn's group with VisionFund. Her group consists of four members. She is now leading her group to apply for a small loan with VisionFund of KHR1,000,000 each. As the leader, she will use the entire loan to buy fertilizer for her farmland. She hopes to increase her business so as to earn more income and keep her children in school.
