A loan of $450 helped to purchase basic grains, meat, chicken, sodas, and clothing.

Teresa Francisca's story

Teresa studied accounting and used to work as an assistant accountant in a business located in León, her home city. However, she was left unemployed and the difficult economic situation and the lack of work impelled her to start up a business that would earn her income. With her severance from her previous employment, she started up a convenience store with which she pays for her household expenses and supports her small daughter who is 4 years old.

She is requesting a loan to purchase basic grains, meat, chicken, sodas and clothing, as she needs to keep her products stocked up for sale.

One of her plans is to purchase shelves, cabinets and a freezer for storing dairy products.
