A loan of $400 helped to buy milk, salt and rennet.

Severa's story

Severa is a very enterprising, hard working woman. She’s 53 years old and married to Santana who is a farmer. They have two children who are already married and have their own families. She has been making cheese to sell for more than 20 years. She says that she decided to invest in this business because she wants to help her husband with household expenses since he works too much and does not earn enough to have good economic solvency. Also, she can have better quality of life. The loan she got will be used to buy milk, salt and rennet. One of the goals Severa has for her business is to make it grow very much because she’s thinking later on to enlarge her locale a bit because she wants to buy more tubs, trays, strainers and trays to ease production because that way she will improve and increase income much more. She thanks Fundación Realidad and Kiva lenders for all the support and trust they are giving her because this will help her quite a bit because now she can continue investing in her business and supporting her family.
