Edith's story

Edith is 47 years old, she is married with Elpidio and they have 4 children, of whom only Alexis goes to school, attending the third year of Preschool, as the others are all married. She has been running a groceries store for 20 years.
She says she started this activity because she wanted to improve her family’s standard of living as well as her own, and to have a good economic solvency. She also wanted to start saving to grant an educational future to her son. The loan she has requested will be used to buy drinks, water, eggs, biscuits, oil, milk, rice, sugar, beans and ham to stock her shop up a bit more.
One of Edith’s goals is to make her activity grow a lot, as she wants to expand her shop in order to stock it up even more, consequently improving her sales and earnings.
She is deeply thankful to FRAC and to Kiva’s lenders for the great support they are offering her, as thanks to this help her activity and the life of her family with improve a little more.
