A loan of $1,200 helped to buy a yoke of oxen (two oxen) for agricultural farming.

Juan Francisco's story

Juan is 72 years old, he lives with his life partner and two children. He has worked in agriculture since he was 12 years old. He comes from a very large family of 7 siblings, so he has worked since he was very small. At age 17, he met his partner and had two children. It was with a lot of effort that he gave an education to one of them until he was able graduate. His life partner and children struggle daily in the agriculture sector along with him.

He buys agricultural supplies at the closest place to his home. He has to pay for a moto-taxi to transport them to his house because it is about two kilometers away from where he purchases the supplies.

The loan he is requesting from Fundación Campo will be used to buy a yoke of oxen (two oxen) for agricultural farming. With the investment, he will improve his yield and his ability in agriculture. He wishes to continue working and improving his income, cultivating other varieties of agricultural products.
