A loan of $825 helped to buy a cow.

Rita's story

Rita is a member of the 'Arco Iris' (Rainbow) community bank. She is 32 years old and sells cereals in open-air markets. She has been a member of FINCA Peru for four years. Rita also runs a farm which she and her husband own. Rita always values everything FINCA Peru give her. With the loans, she has learned how to invest wisely and have more capital available. She has also been able to continue educating her children. FINCA taught her how to run her business and she has therefore been able to make progress during the four years she has been with them. She has seen her financial situation improve. Rita will invest the loan that she is currently requesting in buying a cow and alfalfa with which to fatten it.
