Anibal se ha caracterizado durante toda su vida por ser muy trabajador. Es padre de 2 hijos de 10 y 7 años, a los cuales su madre abandonó hace un tiempo, por lo que actualmente se encuentran a cargo de Anibal. Siempre les ha querido brindar la mejor calidad de vida a sus hijos, por esto se esfuerza en su trabajo todos los días con el ánimo de sacar su familia adelante. Anibal se dedica a la agricultura, actividad que aprendió de su padre, y desde entonces esta ha sido la actividad con la cual genera los ingresos necesarios para el sostenimiento de su hogar. Anibal ha tenido muy difícil la producción de sus cultivos debido al mal clima que ha hecho en los últimos meses, y esto se ve reflejado en la calidad de sus cultivos. Anibal busca potenciar su cultivo y hacer que pueda crecer de buena calidad, además de organizar su cosecha con una malla para que no se le estén metiendo animales a pisarle sus cultivos. Es por esto que Anibal busca un préstamo que le brinde la posibilidad de acceder a la compra de riegos e impermeabilizantes, semillas y una malla que le permitan cultivar sus productos con buena calidad.

Anibal espera que su cultivo pueda crecer de buena calidad y de esta manera pueda vender sus productos a un buen precio, y poder ofrecerle a sus hijos una mejor calidad de vida. Anibal sueña con tener un gran cultivo y tener también ganado para la cría y venta de los mismos y dejarles a sus hijos una estabilidad económica.

This loan is structured on Kiva as a bullet loan, which means a single payment is required at the end of the loan term. By Colombian law, Kiva's partner Interactuar is required to offer borrowers loans with a variable interest rate that fluctuates with the market rate. Because fixed monthly payments are applied first to interest and then to principal, Interactuar is unable to predict upfront what portion of each repayment would go towards the loan principal. This creates a challenge with Kiva's system, which doesn't allow for unpredictable principal payments, and can result in some Interactuar clients appearing falsely delinquent. To remedy this, the loan has an end-of-term repayment plan on Kiva, but the borrower will continue scheduled monthly repayments to Interactuar, who will then pass along the principal amount to Kiva lenders. This means that you may see repayments made on this loan throughout the repayment term, as opposed to receiving repayment in full at the end of the loan term.
