Mbowa Teddy's Group's story

Teddy, the group leader, is 49 years old and married with 8 children as she looks after 4 grand children. She is a farmer having banana, beans and maize plantations and is a business woman involved in buying and selling coffee and dried fish. Her last born child is in his senior 6 vacation while the grandchildren are in nursery and primary school. Without the loans, she would not have been able to expand her business enough to pay the school fees and look after her family, so she is very grateful.
