A loan of $375 helped to buy nutritionally balanced animal feed.

Diana Elizabeth's story

Diana’s 22 years old and a single mother of a son; she lives in her parents’ house located in San Martín, a rural zone in the agricultural Tambogrande District which has a tropical climate suited for fruit production like mangoes and lemons. The zone is located in Piura Region five hours from the city of Chiclayo, Lambayeque Region’s capital.

Her activity is selling “bodoques” and “gelatinas” (refreshing snacks) at home; she works every day of the week. She also raises small farm animals and barnyard fowl in her back yard. With income earned from these activities she’s able to raise her son and help support her family.

Diana wants to acquire nutritionally balanced feed to fatten up her animals so that she can sell them for better prices in the local market. This investment will help her continue to grow in business thus improving her quality of life. To reach her objective she’s thought it wise to request a 1000 new sol loan from Edpyme Alternativa. She’s had prior loans with Edpyme Alternativa and she’s shown herself to be quite a responsible and punctual client with her payments.
