A loan of $300 helped to buy replacement parts to fix up her vehicles.

Carina's story

Carina, 40, is separated, and is the mother of a son, Iván, 20 and a daughter, Lily, 24. She is a good and friendly woman who has ensured that while her children have been with her, they have received education and were taught good habits. They all live in their own house where they help with household expenses and that way can have a better quality of life. Carina’s business is renting motor taxis. Every day two people go to her house to rent the vehicles so that they can work as drivers. They have all their papers in order, and above all, are responsible.

She has had this business for three years and it has allowed her to have another source of income since she also works as an administrative employee in the town government. Her business is going well and having two incomes permits her to have some comforts in her home. With these she can support her children who are studying and need many things for their schooling. She hopes to continue with the business in the future and to have more vehicles. This will be her first loan with MFP and she is happy to know that she can have financial support and thus she will feel sure of the progress of her business. She promises to make her payments on time and with the amount of 800 sols, she will buy new and replacement parts to fix up her vehicles that are wearing out as time passes.
