Garegin's story

Garegin was born in 1973 in the town of Kapan. After graduating from high school he enrolled in the Kapan vocational school where he got a degree as a machinery operator.

At the moment Garegin and his family live in the village of Vardavank in the Syuniksky region. Garegin has three children: two daughters and a son. Son is a sophomore at the college of Kapan after which he will graduate with a degree in communication. Two daughters of Garegin go to school. Garegin's wife works as a librarian in the village library and Garegin works in the rural community. Garegin's mother who lives with them is a housewife.

Since 2000 Garegin has been engaged in agriculture, he breeds large horned cattle, sheep, chickens, pigs and bees. He also grows vegetables and fruits in the garden and the orchard. In addition Garegin rents out a plot of land where he grows crops such as wheat and barley. The whole family helps Garegin as much as possible.

Also Garegin owns agricultural machinery which he uses to provide services in the field of agricultural work for a fee.

Garegin sells the collected agricultural products which are vegetables, fruits, meat, milk, eggs, wool, cereals and honey to his regular customers and buyers in the city of Kapan.

Garegin needs a loan in the amount of 1,000,000 dram (AMD) to buy a cow and to overhaul his agricultural machinery.
