A loan of $750 helped to buy nutritionally balanced animal feed.

Lucero Liliana's story

Lucero is a 34-year-old mother living with her husband and son in Vallecito hamlet a rural zone of the agricultural Tambogrande District, a zone with a tropical climate noted for fruit production like mangoes and lemons. The zone is located in Piura Region, five hours from the city of Chiclayo, Lambayeque Region’s capital.

She raises small farm animals and barnyard fowl. She raises these animals in her back yard and when they have developed fully she puts them up for sale. On the other hand, her husband has a small parcel of land where he grows lemons and mangoes. They rely on these activities to support their family.

Lucero wants to acquire nutritionally balanced feed to fatten up her animals so that she can sell them for a better price in the local market. This investment will allow her to continue growing in her business and improving her quality of life. To reach her objective she’s decided to ask Edpyme Alternativa for a 2000 new sol loan. She’s had prior loans with Edpyme Alternativa and has shown herself to be quite responsible and punctual with her payments.
