A loan of $300 helped buy fertilizer and manure.

Jhoysi's story

Jhoysi is a hard-working, 29-year-old entrepreneur eager to get ahead. She’s separated from the father of her children and lives with her children and her parents in her house. Jhoysi works in agriculture and has 5 hectares of land that she inherited from her parents. She counts on help from the unskilled laborers who work with her during the sowing of the crop every 15 days. She likes her business as it generates constant income to pay for her expenditures and it’s profitable enough for the demand she has. She has plans to expand her palm oil crop because of the demand there is in the market. This will be the 2nd loan with MFP, with which she hopes she can accomplish her objectives. Also, she is comfortable with her Communal Bank as she considers her group very united and supportive. She will invest the loan of 800 soles in the purchase of fertilizer and manure.
