Flavio Antonio's story

Flavio is hard-working and has always looked for ways to provide a better standard of living for his wife and their 2 children. Previously, Flavio was a public service worker, however, he was left unemployed when a re-structuring meant that his job became obsolete. Since then, Flavio used his redundancy pay to set up a stationery shop so that he could continue to earn an income for his family. It has now been approximately 6 years since he made this decision, and since then he has worked diligently to ensure the success of his business and to ensure that he can continue to offer his family a better standard of living. Flavio has increased his level of sales as it is the start of the school year; however, due to a lack of capital, his business is not sufficiently well-stocked to face the year ahead. Consequently, Flavio is applying for a loan which will enable him to invest in buying stationery items, such as exercise books, card, books, and pens and pencils among other items, so facing the coming school year with sufficient stock. Flavio hopes that his earnings will be considerably increased and that he will be able to improve his wife and children's quality of life. Furthermore, Flavio hopes that his children will have access to a high-quality education and better opportunities for economic progress.
