A loan of $1,125 helped to do improvements on his pen and be able to keep more pigs there.

Ferney Alberto's story

Ferney is a very hard working person who has always wanted to offer his wife and 1 year old son a better quality of life. Ferney has spent a large part of his life as a machine operator at a construction company. Since his father in law offered him a small pen, he is beginning the activity of raising pigs. Ferney has taken advantage of this opportunity wanting to generate more income for his home and offer them a better quality of life. Ferney works all day in the construction business and when he finishes his work day, he goes home to care for the pigs he has. At present, Ferney only has one litter, but he is making plans to increase his capacity. That is why he is looking to expand his pen so he can have a bigger number of pigs. However, Ferney doesn't have enough capital to do the improvement and he hopes that a loan will give him the opportunity to make improvements on the pen and thus be able to have more pigs there.

Ferney hopes to be able to generate more income with this when he sells the pigs, and thus be able to offer his wife and son a better quality of life.
