Leang, fifty-six, is married, resides with her husband and two university-age children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling rice and bran in the market for over twenty years and is successful in her career. Her husband is a soldier. In order to support her children to study in higher, education, Leang is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase a computer and pay university fees for her children. By doing so, her children would be able to finish their Bachelors degrees. In the future, she would like to purchase more rice and bran to sell to generate more income for the family, and rebuild her house.
