A loan of $400 helped buy ingredients to make food.

Martha's story

Mrs. Martha is a humble forty year old woman who has sold Mexican treats for three years.

She is a single mother to a son that she loves very much and is her reason for working since she wishes to be a father to him as well and that he be proud of her.

Mrs. Martha says that the food that she sells includes green and red enchiladas (like a corn pancake with chili), empanadas (fried corn cakes filled with meat), sopes (thick corn cakes), and tacos dorados (fried tacos).

She needs the loan to buy more ingredients like: green chilies, tomatoes, onion, garlic, cheese and corn to make tortillas.

Mrs. Martha is grateful to the foundation for all of their support.
