This is 39 year-old Mariatu. She is married and has 4 children ages 23, 20, 18, and 15 years.
In 2002, Mariatu established a clothing business. She began her business in order to develop her home and it is her major source of livelihood. Working 7 days a week and 8 hours a day, she earns about 900,000 Sierra Leone leones every month from this business.
Mariatu would like a loan in the amount of Le 5,000,000. She has already received and successfully repaid 1 loan and now requires a new loan in order to buy wax cotton and other clothing materials. She hopes that this loan will enable her to increase her monthly profits by approximately Le 250,000.
In the future, Mariatu plans to send her daughter abroad, to own a house, and to have a larger business center. She thanks you for your support.
