A loan of $575 helped to buy ingredients and supplies such as sauce and honey.

Sergio's story

Sergio, 28, has worked making and selling fast food for four years, when he learned to prepare hot dogs, "salchipapas" (a combination of sausage and fried potatoes), and hamburgers of different meats that he mixes with sauce and pure honey, and decided to offer them to the whole community of neighbors and acquaintances.

Currently his business grows every day and he needs more working capital to make cash purchases in bulk, especially of the various sauces he uses to prepare his products. He is going to make the most of the Carnival season (a period in which traditionally sales grow) to invest big.

For this reason he is turning to his Kiva loan, the first financing he is getting from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, with which he will buy ingredients and supplies such as sauce and honey to carry out his objective to sell much more and earn a lot more as well.

His goal is for his business to be recognized and to increase the prestige of his delicious hot dogs.
