A loan of $575 helped to buy essential products for her store.

Bethsy's story

Bethsy, 35, is a kind, hard-working woman who is married to Emerson, 32. They have two lovely children, Emerson, 6, and Renzo, 3, who are her reason to continue working hard every day to give them the best she can. She lives with her family in her own house, where Bethsy sells groceries out of a store she has set up. Every day many customers come to her store to buy essential goods since she opens very early in the morning and keeps a stock of everything. She has been business for five years and has the help of her niece.

She enjoys her work which allows her to spend time with the family while generating an income. Also, she is a teacher at the school near her home, which provides extra income for the household. She hopes to continue working and getting ahead in her business. This is her eighth loan through MFP and she is grateful for the financial support as it will give her confidence to advance. She is committed to paying back the loan on time as with her previous loans. The 1,500 PEN will be used to buy groceries and merchandise to broaden the variety of products she offers in her grocery store.
