Nieves's story

Forty-five-year-old Nieves is a courageous single mother. She lives with two of her four children, Jarol and Julissa, whom she cares for in her own home, which is located in the district of Chilca. Her smile is proof of her vitality. She grows produce such as potatoes, ulluco, and broad beans for a living, but because she wants to have quality produce, she constantly cares for, fertilizes, and protects them. She is thankful for farming, as it allows her to take care of her children and offer them their daily meals. But because her earnings are not stable, she decided to make an incursion into sewing, where she makes articles of clothing of all sizes and qualities. She tells us that she earns an average of 150 nuevos soles per week, but during Christmas, New Year's, and the Santiago's agricultural festivities she earns more money. She has 20 years of experience traveling to fairs in different cities, as the aprons that she sews with lot of dedication are what sell the best. This is her third loan with MFP, where she is very happy in knowing that she has financial support, as this allows her to feel secure in moving forward with her business. She also promises to make her payments. Furthermore, she likes being part of the association because all of its members are responsible and supportive people. Upon receiving your help, Nieves will invest the requested money in the purchase of merchandise such as fabrics and lace to make her aprons.
