Félix's story

Felix is 26 years old, is single and lives with his parents.

Eight months ago he began the installation of a farm with five pigs and when they are grown he butchers them. He decided to continue the work of his father who is now in a wheelchair and can't do it. Prior to this, Felix had a bakery, but he decided to other things that would help him to improve his income.

He bought the pigs when they were 5 weeks old, in a city that is two hours away from where lives. He bought the concentrate, food and vitamins in the same place and he sells the meat in a city that is two hours away from his house. He has strong clientel and he supplies the city's sellers with meat.

Felix asks for a loan from Fundación Campo to buy sheet metal, cement, sand, iron and bricks to construct another pigsty. This way he will be able to raise more pigs so that when they are young he can keep them in one pigsty and when they are at the stage to be butchered he can transfer them to another. As the pigs keep growing he will categorize them by pigsty. With this investment his production will be greater and he will recieve better income. Felix notes that he is 100% dedicated to seeing his business grow more.
