A loan of $2,100 helped to renovate his car repair shop.

Pshtiwan's story

Pshtiwan is a 27-year-old Iraqi man. He is married and is a father of two children.

For the past two years, Pshtiwan has been supporting his family by running his own auto repair shop where he also works as the mechanic. His shop is performing smaller but highly demanded jobs such as oil changes, oil filter changes and assistance with managing the engine cooler systems during the cold winter months.

Pshtiwan would like to renew his shop to be able to do larger jobs as well and meet the demands of his clients. He took a loan from Relief International - Iraq in the amount of $2100 to improve the shop. He hopes to generate a 10 to 12 percent increase in sales after the improvements and introduction of new services.

Pshtiwan is under 30 and qualifies for a 'youth loan'
