A loan of $375 helped buy cement to build a roof for her stable.

Evelyn's story

Evelyn is 28 years old, she is beautiful woman. She lives with Pablo her husband of 3 years and they have 2 children, Rosa and Josmel whom they take care of in their own home located in Incho. Evelyn is a hardworking woman and her husband works in a company as a chauffeur transporting different types of food throughout the country. Evelyn breeds cuyes (a rodent like animal), which she sells every 3 months depending on the orders. Thanks to her efforts and sacrifices, Evelyn was able to have 200 specimens that increase with ease since she knows how to separate them according to breed, pregnancy and age; this allows her to have better results when raising them. She also has 4 small bulls and hopes to breed them to sell them in the same way. Her secret is to grow alfalfa which provides her animals with food and decreases costs. Evelyn with the help of her husband, who earns good wages, wishes to have a farm that’s well kept and they hope to achieve that goal. She belongs to the "entrepreneurs” communal bank, this is her third loan with MFP and hopes for the small loan to help her meet her goals. Evelyn promises to meet her payment quotas. She is also happy to be part of the communal bank because all of the members are responsible and supportive people. Evelyn after receiving your support will use the money to buy cement to build a second roof in the shed for her animals.
