A loan of $1,125 helped to buy a sewing machine, which would allow her to hire a person to help her with her sewing.

Marta Cecilia's story

Marta Cecilia did not receive an education when she was little. Therefore, when she grew up it was hard for her to find a job. Thanks to a course that she was given, she learned how to make clothes. Later, thanks to a very good boss that she had, she worked as a sewing machine operator in a business.

Marta Cecilia, age 64, is currently married and has two children. She has always wanted to give them everything that they need.

Marta Cecilia’s boss offered her the chance to have a machine in her house. This would allow her to work from home. Therefore, Marta Cecilia now receives cut fabrics, and she sews them into garments. Marta Cecilia is very behind in her production because she only has her one sewing machine.

That is why she wants to buy a sewing machine to generate a job and to have a person to help her with her work. However, Marta Cecilia does not have enough money at this time. This is why Marta hopes for a loan that will give her the opportunity to buy a sewing machine that will allow her to have an employee working at her side.

Marta Cecilia hopes that her sales increase considerably because she will be able to get more work from the company. This way she will be able to give her husband and her two children a better quality of life. Also, she wants to offer a job to a person who is in great need and urgently needs some income.
