Senegal / Poultry

A loan of $800 helped to buy hens and feed for chicks.

Baigane's story

Mr. Baigane is a 27-year-old unmarried man who lives in Senegal. He has been a mason for over ten years. Concurrently, he also raises poultry and capitalizes on a year of experience. He chose these occupations for the love of them but also out of concern for acquiring income to support himself, as well as his parents. He is rather interested by the lucrative aspect of his second business.

Mr. Baigane has been an associate in one of the U-IMCEC branch offices since October 2009. He is borrowing 400,000 francs for stocking up on chickens and for his poultry and feed project.

With his operations, he hopes to grow his profits and to improve his parents’ living conditions.
