Vey's story

Vey, 39, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampot Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in agricultural business for over twenty years, have an extensive experience and are successful in their career. They are involved in growing rice. Additionally, her husband is a security guard. One of her children (a son) is employed at a garment factory.

Due to his difficulty in traveling to work, Vey is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase a motorbike for her son to commute to work. By doing so, her son would be able to get to work on time and save some money on his transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her agricultural business and rebuild her house to provide comfortable living conditions for the family, and support her children to study until they finish their Bachelor's degree.
