Yorn, 53, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in the agricultural business for over twenty years, have an extensive experience, and are successful in their career. They are involved in growing rice. All of Yorn's children are employed at a garment factory.
In order to improve her family livelihood, Yorn is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase a piece of farmland for growing more rice in order to get high yield in the harvest season. By doing so, she would be able to generate more income for the family. In the future, she would like to purchase still more farmland for growing rice, renovate her house, and support her children to study until they get a Bachelor's degree.
