Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $300 helped to lay and plaster the brick and the wall in order to visually enhance it.

Thea's story

Thea is a farmer, while his wife, Dany, is a garment worker. They have been married since 1995 and have two daughters. The family lives in a village about fifteen kilometers from Phnom Penh City.

Thea asked for a Kiva loan once already. He now is asking for another loan of $300 to organize his house by laying and plastering the brick and the wall in order to visually enhance it.
