A loan of $500 helped to buy fertilizer, irrigation and seeds for his crops.

Jaime De Jesus's story

Jaime has dedicated much of his life to agriculture, which has generated the necessary income to sustain his children and his wife. He learned his work thanks to his father having taught him since he was very young, and along with his brothers he has been working ever since.

Jaime, who now has his own crops, has seen how the climate is causing his crops to fail, and for that reason he must install an irrigation system quickly, along with fertilizer for the seeds, to ensure that the crop does not fail completely. Jaime therefore wants to buy fertilizer, irrigators and seeds, which will allow him to keep his crop healthy - but he does not have the capital to take on the investment. For this reason he has pinned his hopes on a loan, which will enable him to buy the fertilizer, irrigators and seeds. with these, he will be able to keep his crop in good condition.

Jaime dreams that his wife and two children might have a stable future financially, so he is saving and seeking to generate new sources of income. He also dreams that he might offer his children a stable future, a better standard of living, and the opportunity to progress and one day have well-paid jobs.
