A loan of $3,450 helped a member to buy vegetables to resell.

Oudoucar 02 Group's story

Oudoucar 02 Group was established on May 30, 2008, when the Banc Villageois was inaugurated. It is made up of 29 women coming from the same village. Their main business is retail.

Mrs. Lyssa, sitting on the far right in the photograph, is responsible for the group. She's 52 years old, married, and has three children.

She sells fruits and vegetables in her village, a business she's been running since she joined the system.

Her new loan will enable her to replenish her stock of vegetable to resell. She intends to help her husband take care of the children.
