Orlando De Jesus's story

Orlando has worked his entire life raising cattle and pigs but due to adverse life circumstances he had to stop this activity for a time. Now, Orlando wants to retake the work, an activity which used to allow him to generate sufficient income to cover household expenses. Orlando is 59 years old, married and has three children in his care who he states are the motivating force behind his daily hard work.

Orlando, who has always been noted for wanting to provide wellbeing for his family, wants his children and his wife to have a better quality of life so now that he has the opportunity he wants to once again start to raise pigs. Orlando wants to buy 7 pigs to raise and the necessary feed concentrate but he does not have sufficient capital to make this purchase so he has his hope placed on a loan that will make it possible for him to buy the 7 pigs to raise and the necessary feed concentrate to feed them for a certain period of time.

Orlando dreams with restarting his activity and once again have it as a source of income to provide his three children and his wife with a better quality of life. Besides, Orlando dreams with his children being able to access a quality education so in future they will have economic stability that will keep them from going through so many adversities like he’s had to.
