Telma Marina's story

Telma is 44 years old and is married with three children. For the past ten years she has made a living as the owner of a small store. Before this she sold seafood in a family business; her brothers and husband make a living in the fishing industry. She buys all that she needs for her store in the city, which she has to take a bus to get to. She also helps her brothers and husband to sell fish. She requested a loan to buy basic grains, sugar, beans, oil, rice, among other things because her inventory is low and runs out quickly. She wants to offer more inventory with more variety to satisfy the demands of her customers so they don't buy things in other stores. Telma intends to provide better service to her customers, to increase her profits. She wants to be able to provide for her children a good education and help her husband with the household expenses, to improve her home to make it bigger and she wants her children to study.
