A loan of $1,350 helped a member to buy merchandise (fabric, thread, etc.).

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

Barbara is married and has three children. Currently she is a member of the Mujeres Emprendedoras communal bank, made of up five members who work in various business activities.

Barbara works making and mending clothing. This business came up as a result of her husband going abroad to work. In time her husband sent her some capital and Barbara set up her sewing business. Little by little she bought her sewing machine. Nothing was easy for Barbara because she had to work very hard and at the same time take care of her three children since her husband was abroad.

Over time, Barbara has loyal customers. Her business continues growing. Thanks to her effort and dedication she has received better income. Her children went to school, she has built her house, and her family has a better quality of life.

With the goal of continuing to grow, she has requested a new loan to buy merchandise (fabric, thread, etc.).

Barbara will realize her goals with a lot of work and effort, and the EDAPROSPO loans will help her.

Sra. Cristina is the one who appears in the upper part of the photo in a white shirt, blue sweater, and a cap.
