Mwanaisha's story

Mwanaisha is a married woman with five children, two girls and three boys, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.

For the past two years, she has operated a food stall business, selling to her neighbours and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. She dreams of establishing a retail shop business in the future.

With the Kshs 40,000 she wants to purchase bundles of wheat flour, maize flour and cooking oil for the food stall business. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
