Nadezhda's story

Nadezhda, her husband and adult son live and work in Melitopol. She sells sports clothes and hats at the local central market. They have been in this line of work for 15 years. Thanks to her considerable work experience, reasonable prices, and good selection, Nadezhda has a significant advantage over her competitors. Currently, she has 30,000 hryvnia in goods. Her profit is around 7,000 hryvnia. Nadezhda plans to invest her Kiva loan to buy goods for the upcoming spring season. She hopes to expand her inventory of seasonal items and increase her profit through additional sales. She would like to invest the revenue in the health of her whole family and a summer vacation. Nadezhda plans to further develop the business and improve the overall welfare of her family.
