A loan of $1,725 helped to purchase cattle.

Akyljan's story

Akyljan is a 49-year-old widow and has three children. Her youngest daughter is still a schoolgirl. In 2002, in search of a source of income for her family, Akyljan started her own animal husbandry business with a starting sum of 40,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her tenacity and perseverance, her farming business now brings about 10,000 som (KGS) per month from the sale of meat and dairy products. In order to further expand her business, Akyljan has turned to "Bai Tushum and Partners" for a loan in the amount of 80,000 som (KGS). She will use this loan to purchase additional head of cattle. She plans to use her revenues to pay for her daughter's higher education.
