A loan of $950 helped to purchase staples to stock her store.

Liz's story

Liz, 24, is a simple woman. She lives with her husband, Rui, with whom she has a son, Pool, whom they are raising in their own home, located in the town of Daniel Hernández.

Despite her young age, Liz has succeeded in accomplishing many things and has more goals to meet. She bought her own home a short while ago, through a great deal of effort and careful saving. In order not to waste time, she opened a grocery store 8 months ago where she sells basic staples. Simultaneously, and while waiting on customers, she embroiders traditional petticoats that are worn at festivals. Consequently, she makes a good living since she is well known and her clients know about the quality of her embroidery. Liz’s best months for earnings are July and August. Therefore she wants to open a store where she can sell her embroidered goods since she is already starting her embroidery and expects to finish everything by these months.

Liz’ husband works for the Peruvian state on an energy and mines project and thus receives a fixed monthly salary with which he pays household expenses.

This is Liz’ first loan with MFP and she awaits your collaboration so she can concretize her plans. She promises to meet her payments on time. As well she likes being part of her communal bank because all of its members are responsible and supportive people. Upon receiving your support she will invest the money in purchasing staple products to stock her grocery store.
