Santa Lucia Group's story

The Santa Lucía communal bank is in its 15th cycle of the Enterprising Women's Program of the Fundación Paraguaya. It has 17 members and is in the Asunción area. All of the members carry out productive activities. They also carry out activities that strengthen their camaraderie.

Lourdes is a very hard-working and creative woman. This can be seen in the beautiful costume jewelry that she makes. She has various kinds of jewelry, and she says that her customers really like the jewelry. This helps her a lot because she has good sales. She says that in the beginning it was a little difficult for her, but now she has a good clientele.

She is requesting the loan to buy pearls, sequins, thread, and other needed supplies to continue making the costume jewelry that she sells.
