A loan of $1,000 helped to complete documentation on her house, which her family inherited from her in-laws.

Galina's story

Galina, her husband, and their two children live in the rural town of Gorinchevo, in Khust. She earns her living weaving wicker, making breadboxes, wreaths, flower-vases, baskets and other handmade items. She is well known in town for always doing a conscientious job and providing quality work. She's been in business for five years. She previously worked in Moscow in construction, renovating apartments, but then she got sick, plus her parents passed away so she came back home to look for some kind of work. The wickerwork brings in an income of 2700 UAH.

Galina is seeking a loan for personal use: she wants to finalize the paperwork on the house the family inherited from her husband's parents.
