Rosa's story

Rosa is 52 years old. She is a kind, friendly and hardworking woman. She is married to Geiner, who is 54 years old. They have five children, three of whom are grown and independent, while Grimen, 20, and Kelvir, 17, still live with them and are supported in their studies. She lives with her family in her own house that she obtained with hard work and sacrifice. Rosa's work is going to many different places in the area selling and trading different products. She takes new and used clothing and sells or exchanges it for animals or seasonal fruit. She sells the products she obtains in the market, where she makes good profit. She has been doing this activity for more than 10 years and she says that she likes it because it allows her to have time at home, aside form the income she makes. Now she has a good market where she buys and sells and she hopes to open a locale in the future where she can sell other types of products and be a little calmer in one place. This will be her second loan with MFP, and she hopes to have a small loan to achieve her goals. With the 2500 soles that she has asked for, she will buy more merchandise and invest in some products that she provides for her customers.
